Military Dedication &Veterans Memorial 

Green Lakes Baptist Church was officially recognized as a Military friendly site in the City of Portsmouth, Virginia on May 26, 2024. All branches of the military are welcome here. Posted outside the front entrance of our building are flag poles with flags representing every branch of the United States Military.

On May 26, 2024, Green Lakes Baptist Church received official letters from the Office of Senator Mark Warner and Governor Glen Youngkin for their dedication to the United States Military. A plaque of recognition for our dedication was also presented by Portsmouth Mayor Shannon Glover. A dedicated memorial to our fallen Veterans can be found surrounding our Countries American flag in front of the church building.
