Every Wednesday night
6:00pm - 7:00pm
"Now it happened as she continued praying before the Lord, that Eli was watching her mouth. Hannah was speaking in her heart (mind); only her lips were moving, and her voice was not heard, so Eli thought she was drunk"
(1 Samuel 1:12-13, AMP).
One of the most inspirational prayer warriors in the bible is Hannah. She is a champion for many when it comes to showing what God will do for someone who pours themselves out to him in faith and prayer. Hannah prayed so intensely the priest Eli thought she was intoxicated. She says, “No, my lord, I am a woman with a despairing [inconsolable, desperate] spirit. I have not been drinking wine or any intoxicating drink, but I have poured [emptied, gushed] out my soul before the Lord” (1 Samuel 1:15, AMP). Can you relate to Hannah? Have you ever needed something so badly you were desperate, inconsolable or intensely in need of a blessing from God?
Being intoxicated with intercession means you are saturated and persuasively engulfed in prayer to God. The goal of this ministry is to train and implement a prayer team that will become intoxicated with intercession for our Church, Community, Families and Country. Intercessors who will pray on behalf of those, who like Hannah, are desperate, inconsolable and in need of an answer from God. Intercessors are needed more than ever. If you have a heart to pray and a willingness to grow spiritually into praying for others, join us on Wednesday nights 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in the church fellowship hall.
God Bless You.
