Prison ministry outreach programs
Our goal is to ensure all who come through our doors enjoy the pleasure of feeling at home and welcome when they arrive to Green Lakes.
Ministry Inside Jail:
Pastor Mark Carman is currently Chaplain at the Portsmouth Sheriff's Department. His former law enforcement background has given him a passion to make those formerly incarcerated feel welcome and at home when they come to Green Lakes.
Ministry Inside Prison:
Green Lakes Baptist Church is currently ministering the gospel of Jesus Christ inside a local prison in Chesapeake, Virginia. We are also facilitating an InsideOut Dads program to the men there.
