Mission Possible – Philippines

Mission Possible is Green Lakes Baptist Church’s ongoing commitment to gospel-centered ministry in the Philippines. Through this mission, the church partners faithfully with Alma Carman, missionary to the region surrounding Surigao City, where Green Lakes supports and encourages two local churches serving their communities for Christ. Alma serves on the ground with consistency and dedication, working closely with local pastors and congregations to strengthen discipleship, support outreach, and encourage faithful ministry.

Alma Carman is also the wife of Pastor Mark Carman, and together they share a deep personal and spiritual commitment to the people and churches they serve. Mission Possible reflects a long-term relational approach to missions — one rooted in trust, accountability, prayer, and partnership rather than short-term efforts. Through this ministry, Green Lakes Baptist Church stands alongside its brothers and sisters in the Philippines, believing that lasting transformation comes through faithful presence, shared purpose, and the steady work of the gospel.
